Our VMC Excavator HD and Hybrid models are designed and manufactured for the customers requiring more robust machines and more features than found on our standard cutters. Many customers had needs for heavier work and needed a more finished product as well as the need to cut / mulch grass, weeds, brush, limbs and small trees and didn’t want the initial expense of a fixed tooth drum mulcher ($ 30,000 on average) along with very high operating and maintenance cost. VMC therefore developed the Hybrid model. With most late model compact excavators from 4.5 -15 ton, we have a model to suit. Made by VMC in Greenwood SC USA.
